Methodology:

1. Initial Discussion

Clients will meet with a representative to determine their web development needs. From this initial meeting, our web development team will produce a site schematic including cost quote, site map and timeline for the project. This will be presented to the client for approval.

2. Pre-Design

We will work closely with client to map out a plan to audit and gather content for the new site or site redesign. After the content requirements are understood, the web development team will create wireframes for every distinct page look within the client's site and show a mapping of individual content objects and pages.

3. Design

Up to three design mockups are prepared based on the initial proposal, site map, page level wireframes and discussions with the client. Upon completion of the agreed number of designs, they will be presented to the client for approval.

4. Implementation

Using design templates, static html non-functional web pages are created for every page in the site map. A online clickthrough site will be available to the client upon the completion of production on the site. Although the clickthrough site will not show the functionality of the finished product, it will validate the overall aesthetics and logical flow. Based on client's feedback, changes will be made to the clickthrough site before backend integration is implemented. Upon approval from the client, the site will be made full functional and thoroughly tested.

5. Launch

Upon the client's approval of the functionality, the site will be moved to production servers and launched. Richmond.com will provide documentation and initial training for the client.
